A special cake for our daughter
This was created for our Daughter's wedding.
We used the pattern from her dress to make the embroidery on the alternate layers.
Which was Ivory Icing with Black brush flooded embroidery.
Featuring Dark Red roses (made from Sugar paste)on the top the same as she carried
The cakes were Fruit cake and Chocolate Mud.
Bi Colour oval cake
This is one way to get the colours that you want into your cake by having a division in the icing to allow you to bring in your colour theme.
Cake flavours may also be what ever you like. the same with the decoratons they can all be changed to suit your needs.
bright but simple
Orange coloured lilies highlighted with matching ribbon created a very effective result for this bride and groom who were pleased to have this on display for their special day.
Colours matched to those worn by the bridesmaids and the flowers to the bride.

Cake 6
This cake is a fun cake that reflects the life of the couple being married. The cakes are Chocolate and Caramel Mud.
The colours come from the bridal party and the reception area ( the parents Farm). The Bike is the love of the Grooms and would love to have ridden it to the wedding while his bride waits patiently for him.
Cake 7
Combination of Fruit and Mud cake formed this simple creation.Iced with Ivory coloured Fondant.
The roses matched those carried by the bride were made from sugar.
The couple both loved to travel on their bike usually accompanied by their dog.
Cake 8
This funky couple were panning for gold. Which is what the groom did to find the gold for their rings. The couple were dressed similarly to the actual bride and groom.
The white fondant covered cakes were Chocolate mud cake that was used for dessert.
The roses and lilies were made to be the same as the brides bouquet.
The drape on the cake was echoing the feature on the brides gown.
Cake 9
This cake is covered with white fondant separated by pillars to give extra height to the finished effect.
The cakes were Very rich Chocolate Mud.
The lilies were made from sugar and coloured to match the bouquets that were carried.
The cake was finished around the base with a satin ribbon mathching the bridesmaid colour.
The bride and groom were purchased to go on top.
Chocolate and Pink Delight
This was exiting to do as the icing was not chocolate flavoured rather it was coloured Dk. Brown as it was covering a fruit cake and the pink icing was over white and Choc Mud cake. The result made both the bride and groom very happy. The Dk.Brown being the colour of the bridesmaids and they carried Pink flowers.
Cows
This creation was all fruit cake. Created for the Challenge Competition in 2006. It received a second place in the Open Wedding Cake Section.
For Ken it was second nature as we used to run a dairy Farm and thus the cows are dear to our hearts.
It was fun creating tis as it is with most of the work that we do.
Flowers and characters are both able to be changed to suit the individual Bride and Groom and what they in tend to have for their own reception/occaision

Cup Cake Design

Cup cakes for ease of serving at the reception and with the added fun of having a cake to cut as well as a character couple dressed similarly to that of the Bride and Groom.
Flavours of the cup cakes were Chocolate, vanilla and Caramel mud with some fruit to cover all bases and needs of thiose attending the reception.
four teir elegance
This elegant 4 teir cake was lots of fun in its simplicity. Set on the angle to make the most of the simple flower arrangements was this brides dream come true.
The flowers matched those carried by the bridal party and the icing colour matched the brides dress.
The second image is a photo taken of the top of the cake.
Four Tier Cake
Rose and Tulip Stack
White choc mud cakes covered with Ganache with self embroidery aroung the middle, created this stunning tower cake. The flowers matched those carried by the bride, This was a simple but stunning centrepiece, suitable for either an outdoor casual occaision or a more formal indoor situation. Which ever suits the couple.
Ganache while being very tasty, does not give the formal smooth finish that fondant cover does. This is an individual choice.
